Harry Styles shocks fans with lake leap

One Direction star Harry Styles pulled off a risky stunt by leaping from a high ledge into a lake in Italy on Sunday (29Jun14).

The pop singer has been caught on camera jumping from a walkway into Lake Como in front of a group of friends who appeared to be filming the stunt.

Styles is seen hurling himself from the precarious spot, and then emerging out of the water seemingly unscathed.

The pictures sparked a flurry of concerned tweets from fans, and reports suggest the star was reprimanded by his managers for carrying out the risky stunt.

The singer's bandmate Liam Payne issued a public apology for his own daredevil stunt earlier this year (13) when he was pictured posing on a ledge outside his 34th floor apartment in London.

Styles has been enjoying some down time during One Direction's ongoing world tour, which hit Italy over the weekend (28-29Jun14).
