Harry Styles' grieving mom thanks fans for support
Harry Styles' mother has expressed her gratitude to fans for their messages of condolence following the death of her husband.
The One Direction star and his family were left devastated last week (20Jun17) after Harry's stepfather Robin Twist lost his battle with cancer, aged 57.
The singer's grieving mom, Anne Cox, has since returned to Twitter to thank followers for the outpouring of support in light of the heartbreaking loss.
"Thank you for all the love and support our family have been given...," she wrote. "Robin would be humbled by the love you have all shown. Thank you".
Harry had served as best man at the couple's nuptials in 2013, after growing close to Robin while he and his mom were dating. Robin helped to raise the pop star and his sister Gemma during their teens.
Following the news of Robin's death on 20 June (17), a representative for Harry issued a simple statement which read: "Harry's stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time."
The 23-year-old has yet to personally comment on the family tragedy.
