Crooner Harry Connick, Jr. is set to charm his way into actress Mariska Hargitay's heart as her new TV love interest.
The Memphis Belle star has joined the cast of hit cop show Law & Order: SVU.
He'll play an executive assistant district attorney in a series of
upcoming episodes, beginning on 18 January (12).
Harry Connick, Jr.'s last stint as a TV series regular came almost
a decade ago when he played Debra Messing's husband on sitcom Will
& Grace.
