Hailee Steinfeld to host and perform at Billboard Women in Music Awards

Singer/actress Hailee Steinfeld will host and perform at the Billboard Women in Music Awards later this week (ends09Dec16).

The True Grit star will help to honor several celebrities, including Madonna and Shania Twain, at the event in New York City on Friday (09Dec16).

"I'm really honored that Billboard asked me to host and perform at this year's Women in Music," she says. "The event empowers women in the music industry and spotlights their achievements in a wonderful way. It's going to be a great show!"

Madonna will be honored with the Woman of the Year Award, while Shania Twain will receive the Icon Award.

Halsey (Rising Star), Andra Day (Powerhouse), Meghan Trainor (Chart Topper), Maren Morris (Breakthrough Artist) and Kesha (Trailblazer) will also be feted.
