Gwyneth Paltrow not interested in acting full-time

Movie star-turned-lifestyle mogul Gwyneth Paltrow has no immediate plans to return to acting full-time.

The Shakespeare In Love star put her Hollywood career on the backburner after launching her Goop.com blog in 2008.

The newsletter, in which Gwyneth shares her food, travel and lifestyle tips, has since transformed into a hugely successful brand, with the company expanding to include clothing, stationery, publishing, and a newly-unveiled skincare range.

The mother-of-two admits she has been putting all her effort into staying on top of the business, and she thrives on the "challenging" nature of her new line of work.

"It's been a very steep learning curve, (but) I really love doing it," she told breakfast show Today. "I'm very energised by it, (it's) very challenging. It's very exciting."

"It's my 24/7 focus right now," she added, revealing she is "completely" hands on with every aspect of the company.

Gwyneth's Goop dedication means she has little time to take on new film roles and for now, she's more than happy to keep it that way.

"For the time being (I'm not acting as much)," the 43-year-old said. "We took some investment (for Goop) last year, and so as soon as we had other people's money, I realized I really better focus on this completely, so I'll return to acting, probably, but not right now."

That doesn't mean fans won't see her onscreen anytime soon - the Iron Man star is still contracted to the Marvel superhero franchise and reports suggest she will reprise her role as Pepper Potts in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.

In an interview with Dish Nation, Paltrow said, "My fingers are crossed. I would love to be Pepper Potts again at some point in my life."
