Grace Bol and Roosmarijn de Kok among 16 new Victoria's Secret Fashion Show recruits
Sudanese model Grace Bol and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit beauty Roosmarijn De Kok have been selected to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show catwalk.
The two models are among the 16 recruited by bosses at the lingerie company to score a spot among familiar 'Angels' like Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Gigi and Bella Hadid, who made her debut last year (16).
Responding to the news she will be part of the fashion world's big show, de Kok took to Instagram on Wednesday (23Aug17) and wrote: "I still can't believe it!!!!!! Words can't describe how happy and thankful i am just crying thank you thank you thank you for making dreams come true... after almost 3 yrs (years) of working for VS im WALKING THE VICTORIAS SECRET FASHION SHOW THIS YEAR (sic)."
Bol added: "I walk in to VS @victoriassecret callback yesterday with out expectation and it is beyond my dream to announce that I will be walking in #victoriassecret #vsfs2017. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
The two catwalk stars will be joined by Alexina Graham, Frida Aasen, Aiden Curtis, Victoria Lee, Nadine Leopold, and Vanessa Moody, who celebrated her Fashion Show slot by posting a snap of herself standing outside a Victoria's Secret store and adding the caption: "I'm so excited and honored to be walking in the #VSFashionShow... Let the countdown begin!!"
Brazilian beauties Gizele Oliveira and Bruna Lirio also made the list, and celebrated by posting a video of themselves screaming on Instagram.
But there's no spot for Justin Bieber's ex Hailey Baldwin, who was spotted attending a casting call for the prestigious show in New York City on Monday (21Aug17).
Actor Stephen Baldwin's 20-year-old daughter missed out on the chance to join her friends Kendall Jenner and Gigi and Bella Hadid on the runway at last year's (16) winter gig in Paris, France and it appears she has been sidelined again.
Hailey has made no secret of her desire to flaunt her figure in the brand's sexy underwear, telling the Daily Mail last year (16), "I want to walk in the Victoria's Secret show. It's every girl's dream."
