Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen banned from press event
Alfie Allen was banned from a recent Game Of Thrones media event over fears the British actor would spill secrets from the hit TV show.
Lily Allen's younger brother, who plays Theon Greyjoy in the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's best-selling book series, was left out of the Los Angeles cast appearance because he has a bad habit of talking about upcoming plotlines.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine his colleagues consider him a
"human spoiler," adding, "I'm really bad at keeping secrets...
There was a press thing going on after the premiere in L.A., and I
wasn't allowed to go on that. It's quite annoying having to keep
tight-lipped about it. Then again, playing the game is quite
fun."
Allen previously landed in trouble with Game of Thrones bosses
after publicly confirming his character survives a dramatic
cliffhanger at the end of season two.
He explains, "I would speak to people and they'd say, 'What are you
up to?' and I'd say 'I've just been shooting the third season of
Game of Thrones and they'd be like, 'What?' It's really annoying,
because I ruined it for people."
