T.I. is wasting no time in returning to work following his release from a post-prison halfway house on Thursday (29Sep11) - he spent the afternoon in a studio recording new tracks.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., has been in the Atlanta, Georgia unit for the past two weeks completing his 11-month sentence for a probation violation.

He became a free man on Thursday morning, and immediately headed to a recording studio to work on material.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "What up world?! It's ME, no fill-in, no substitution. Officially back in action. At da 'yo' (studio) right now layin a verse to 'I spend it'...

"Gettin dis record 'I'm Flexin' ready 4 yall...Tryin to have it delivered by 6pm. What other records yall thank I should hop on (sic)??? I'm all da way on G-O!!! All I see is $$$, & the future... as of now LIFE'S GREAT!

"Gotta say thanx 4all da love, support, &prayers from all... Puttin da A (Atlanta) back on top is high up on my priority list. IT'S ON!!!"

T.I. had been jailed for violating his probation on firearms offences after he was arrested in Los Angeles last year (10) on drug charges.
