Frances Cobain embarrassed by mother's Tweets
Courtney Love's estranged daughter has responded to her mother's tweets about a rumoured romance with her late father's Nirvana bandmate Dave Grohl by urging Twitter.com bosses to ban her from the micro-blogging website.
Love took to her private Twitter account on Tuesday (10Apr12) and claimed Foo Fighters star Grohl had seduced her engaged 19-year-old daughter.
She wrote, "I hear from frannies (Frances') roommate that
@davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at
her, him i am about to shoot, dead."
Grohl fired back at the rocker on Wednesday (11Apr12), insisting
her Twitter.com rant was completely false.
A statement from him read: "Unfortunately Courtney is on another
hateful twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting,
offensive and absolutely untrue."
And now Cobain has offered her response in a statement, which
reads: "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological
mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been
approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way.
"I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should
ban my mother."
Cobain is engaged to rocker Isaiah Silva.
