Foo Fighters' Nate Mendel weds

Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel has married his longtime girlfriend Kate Jackson.

The rocker and his music publicist partner made their union official on 11 October (14), according to Billboard.com.

The ceremony was held in Studio City, California at non-profit conservancy organization Tree People, which is based at the top of Coldwater Canyon Park and looks over lush landscape.

All five of Mendel's bandmates, including frontman Dave Grohl, guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shifflet, keyboardist Rami Jaffee and drummer Taylor Hawkins, were in attendance.

Guests were treated to music by The Good Time Boys, and Hawkins also took the stage to perform a few cover songs.

This is the second marriage for Mendel.
