Fergie: 'It's so freeing to push the limits!'
FERGIE insists there's "nothing wrong" with mums being a little naughty sometimes.
The 41-year-old singer is hoping to find success with her comeback single M.I.L.F. $, which includes saucy lyrics such as: "Heard you in the mood for a little MILFshake, Welcome to the Dairy Dutchess Love Factory, I could whip it up, fix you up straight away
Come on in the front door, leaving at the back door."
And Fergie said in a new interview with Billboard.com that she is
hoping the song will "empower" mothers to have some fun and embrace
their inner sex kitten.
"This is definitely empowering moms to have fun," she said. "Being
a mom and having a career, taking care of yourself and still being
able to be flirty and fun and a little naughty sometimes - there's
nothing wrong with that.
"Society tries to tell moms what they should and shouldn't be, and
it's just a little freeing to have fun with pushing those limits a
bit. I might do it a little bit more than others, but that's just
who I am."
The video for the song shows Fergie alongside a host of stunning
beauties, such as Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Alessandra
Ambrosio. Several scenes show the video stars drenched in milk, but
Fergie laughed that it was "all done with a laugh and a wink...
I've always poked a little fun at being sexy."
The group shot so much footage for the video that Fergie added an
extended version of it could be released in the near future.
"There's so much more content that we shot ... that we're just
going to keep probably presenting it to everyone," she smiled. "I
think M.I.L.F. will probably have its own babies."
One person who is a huge fan of Fergie's new offering is her
two-year-old son Axl. The tot, whose father is Fergie's actor
husband Josh Duhamel, can't resist having a boogie when the song
comes on.
"He loves it," she said. "Whenever we put on music with a really
good beat, he starts dancing and he does this little bounce and we
call him 'the dancing guy.'"
