Evan Ross working with Ashlee Simpson on new music

Actor/singer Evan Ross and his new wife Ashlee Simpson have taken their chemistry into the recording studio to collaborate on new music.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 star reveals the couple, which is also working on a joint fashion line, has already laid down vocals for one track, and the results are so good, he is keen to do more.

He tells Eonline.com, "We already did a song together and we're going to do more together. We did an incredible song together but we're going to keep doing music together. She's unbelievable. Our voices sound really well with each other."

Simpson isn't the only female collaborator Ross has in his sights - he is also hopeful of teaming up with his mother, the legendary Diana Ross.

He adds, "I would love, love, love to do a song with mom. We'll work together. She's always giving me good advice and we're working on stuff. When the right song comes up, yeah, we'll definitely do a record together."
