Eric Christian Olsen is a new dad

Actor Eric Christian Olsen has a new girl in his life.

The NCIS: Los Angeles star's wife, actress Sarah Wright, gave birth to Esme Olivia on Tuesday morning (09Aug16), and the new mom introduced fans to the newborn in a sweet Instagram snap on Thursday (11Aug16).

Alongside a photo of Eric cradling little Esme as their two-year-old son Wyatt sits beside them, Sarah writes, "Love and joy don't do justice to what I feel when I look at these three."

The happy couple wed in 2012.

Eric isn't the only member of the NCIS: Los Angeles family expanding his family in 2016 - his co-star and sister-in-law Daniela Ruah is pregnant with her second child. She is married to David Olsen, who serves as brother Eric's onscreen stunt double. They announced their pregnancy in April (16).
