Emilia Clarke unveiled as new Dior jewelry spokesmodel
Actress Emilia Clarke has landed a new role as the face of Dior's fine jewelry collection.
The Game of Thrones star has been tapped by bosses at the iconic label to front its Rose des Vents range of diamond earrings and necklaces. It marks Emilia's first job for a luxury brand and she certainly appears a natural in her first advertising campaign, shot by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
In one photo, Emilia sports barely-there make-up in a white shirt,
wearing necklaces in yellow and rose gold with diamonds, white
mother-of-pearl and pink opal, while another shows a racier side to
the actress, who goes topless under a black blazer, with rings
shining on her fingers and her ears adorned with drop earrings.
The range had its international launch in June (15) and Emilia
joins big names such as Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard,
Natalie Portman and Robert Pattinson as Dior spokesmodels.
Emilia has long been a fan of Dior and sat front row at the fashion
house's Spring/Summer 2016 show in Paris in October (15). She has
made her love of dressing up no secret, previously telling Vogue
U.K. that she's a fan of "all things girly".
"I will often fall in love with a dress on the catwalk," she told
the publication. "I love Chanel, Prada and Alberta Ferretti
especially - and then I have to give myself a good talking to."
