Elle King has no time for wedding planning

Singer Elle King is hoping to find time in her busy schedule to start planning her nuptials.

The Ex's and Oh's star became engaged to Andrew 'Fergie' Ferguson in February (16), and the couple has chosen a date for the "carnival and rock and roll circus"-themed wedding, but neither bride nor groom-to-be have not been able to find time to plan anything.

"We pretty much just want to have a party," she tells People magazine. "I've always been a barefoot, flowers-in-my-hair girl, so I dream of a flowy dress and being around friends and family."

Elle is preparing to perform at several music festivals over the summer and will open for the Dixie Chicks on tour in September (16). She knows the big day will come up fast and is considering letting Ferguson and her mum, former model London King, take care of everything.

"Everybody dreams about their wedding day, I just haven't really had a lot of time to put a lot of thought into it," she says, "but things approach so quickly. I'll just have Fergie plan the whole thing (or) my mom is gonna deal with it, and I'll show up!"

This is the first marriage for King, who is the daughter of actor Rob Schneider.
