Drake stuck on Caribbean island due to hurricane

Rapper Drake is reportedly stuck on the Carribean island of St. Martin amid severe weather warnings over Hurricane Gonzalo.

The hip-hop star flew to the island on Friday (10Oct14) to direct and star in a music promo with rapper P. Reign for their collaborative track DnF.

The pair also threw a single release party at a nightclub over the weekend (11-12Oct14), but while Reign made it off the island in a private jet before the weather hit, his hip-hop pal was not so lucky.

P. Reign wrote on Twitter.com on Monday (13Oct14), "Made it off that island in the nick of time. Thank God for private jets. Everybody else in the crew stuck in St. Martin for days. Hurricane."

Editors at New York Post gossip column Page Six report that Drake was left stranded as many flights were cancelled due to hurricane warnings.
