Rapper Drake inspired marketing heads at Canadian basketball team the Toronto Raptors to create a bizarre new fan must-have for Wednesday night's (30Apr14) big game against the Brooklyn Nets - a lint roller.
The Started From the Bottom hitmaker turned heads during a recent NBA play-off game between his hometown Raptors and the Nets, when he was spotted picking lint off his trousers with a sticky roller as he sat courtside.
Marketing bosses quickly jumped at the chance to give out keepsakes
to fans attending Wednesday night's game and developed 1,200
special Raptors lint rollers.
The give-away was a big winner - the home team beat the Nets to
take a 3-2 game lead into Friday night's (02May14) potential
series-ending match.
