David Cross: 'Chipmunks sequel was an unpleasant experience'

Funnyman David Cross wasn't smiling on the set of the latest Alvin & The Chipmunks sequel - he hated the experience and has vowed never to work with the brains behind the new family film again.
The Arrested Development star plays a cruise ship mascot who finds himself stranded on a desert island with the Chipmunks, the Chipettes and their handler Dave, played by Jason Lee.
And he admits the shoot was a miserable experience he hopes never
to repeat.
David Cross tells The Playlist, "It’s safe to say I
won’t be working with some of those people ever again... Not
the actors. And the director (Mike Mitchell) was great. We got
along. There were a couple of people, though... it was just a
really awful, unpleasant experience."
