David Crosby brands Kanye West an 'idiot'

Veteran rocker David Crosby has blasted rapper Kanye West as a talentless "idiot" and taken aim at Beach Boys co-founder Mike Love, insisting he is "not a good person", in a candid Twitter.com chat with fans.

The Crosby, Stills & Nash star was taking part in a question and answer session online on Tuesday (03Mar15) when he was quizzed about his fellow musicians, and he had nothing good to say about outspoken West, who hit headlines last month (Feb15) when he protested against Beck's Album of the Year win at the Grammy Awards.

Quizzed about West and his "impact as an artist", an unimpressed Cosby replied, "He's an idiot and a poser... has no talent at all."

He also blasted jam band Phish by insisting he doesn't agree with one fan's declaration that they are "pretty awesome", and then hit out at Love, moments after heaping praise on his former Beach Boys bandmate Brian Wilson as "Innocent, brilliant,inspiring".

Asked if he had ever worked with Love, Crosby responded, "Have not Would not Not a good person (sic)", without expanding further.
