David Beckham honors mom, wife on U.K. Mother's Day
David Beckham marked Britain's Mother's Day by paying a sweet tribute online to his wife Victoria and mom Sandra.
The retired England soccer ace took to social media on Sunday (06Mar16) to celebrate the two most important women in his life.
He first honored his mother by sharing an old photo of himself with
Sandra, praising her as his "number one fan from day one".
"More importantly your support, honesty, and tireless love for not
just me and my sisters but for your grand kids which really shows
the type of person you are," wrote the proud star. "Amazingly
generous... Thank you for being my mom."
David, 40, then posted a sweet black-and-white snap of his and
Victoria's four children: Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and
daughter Harper, four.
"17 years ago our brood started and these little ones have the most
amazing mommy that they love so much," he captioned the image. "And
I love her for many reasons but the main one is because she gave me
the most amazing children... Happy mama's day as the little ones
would say."
David's high praise came two days after he and Victoria gushed
about their "baby Brooklyn" online in celebration of his 17th
birthday on Friday (04Mar16).
The doting parents each took to their Instagram pages to post
throwback pictures of their eldest son on his special day, and
proceeded to embarrass the boy with love-filled birthday
messages.
"17 years ago today this little man came into this world and
changed our lives in so many ways," David wrote alongside an old
photo of the father-and-son duo. "We were given the most precious
gift that makes us smile and proud every time he walks through the
door... Not so little anymore but look at the smile. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
BUST".
"Happy Birthday beautiful boy," singer-turned-fashion designer
Victoria commented beside another old picture of her son. "We are
so proud and love you so much. Can't believe baby Brooklyn is 17
today."
