Danity Kane stars racked up massive debts

Written by . Published: September 16 2015

Former Danity Kane stars Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex have alleged their pop career left them thousands of dollars in debt even though they "grossed millions" in tours and album sales.

O'Day and Bex, along with Dawn Richard, Aundrea Fimbres and D. Woods, were brought together by hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs to form the girl group in 2005, but after an initial break-up in 2009, four of the five reunited in 2013, only to split again last year (14).

During the height of their success, O'Day and Bex claim they were making millions, but they ultimately ended up in the red.

In a new interview with New York City radio show The Breakfast Club, O'Day says, "We have two platinum albums, let alone grossed over a million dollars on Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics tour... We came off the tour $15,000 in debt and grossed millions."

Bex then quips, "Thanks Diddy."

O'Day and Bex have since formed their own duo called Dumblonde.
