Dalton Gray discharged from hospital after car crash

Actor Dalton Gray has been discharged from hospital after undergoing extensive facial surgery following a car accident in Texas over the weekend (18-19Apr15).

The Dumb and Dumber To star, who has also appeared in TV show American Horror Story, was seriously injured in Houston on Saturday (18Apr15) when the car he was traveling in was involved in a collision.

He underwent treatment for a shattered pelvis, broken leg and lacerations to his face, which required surgery, and the 17 year old has now left hospital to begin his recovery at home.

Gray posted a picture on Instagram.com showing himself in a wheelchair and added in the caption, "Heading home! Thank you for all the love and prayers! #blessed".

He also shared pictures of his horrific facial injuries and a snap of his agent, who "came to Houston to be with me in the hospital", as well as a video in which he joked about the accident.

The crash was allegedly caused by a drunk driver and reports suggest police in Texas have taken a suspect into custody.
