Dakota Johnson snaps at mom over Fifty Shades snub

Dakota Johnson snapped at her mom Melanie Griffith during a tense interview on the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday (22Feb15) after she revealed she probably wouldn't check her out in Fifty Shades Of Gray.

TV reporter Lara Spencer asked Griffith if she was planning to see her daughter's hit new film Fifty Shades of Gray, to which the veteran, who was Johnson's date to the Academy Awards, responded she didn't need to see the racy movie to know her kid was a good actress.

Griffith also added she felt it would be "strange" to watch her daughter in such a sexy film.

Johnson, clearly tired of her mother talking about the movie, said, "Alright! You don’t have to see it. Jesus Christ."

Griffith then added, "If she told me to see it, I'll see it."
