Ciara shares first wedding photo with Russell Wilson

Singer Ciara has made her debut as Mrs. Russell Wilson by sharing the couple's first wedding photo on social media.

The R&B beauty tied the knot with the football star Russell at the historic Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England on Wednesday (06Jul16), with guests including bridesmaids Kelly Rowland and Lala Anthony, and pal Jennifer Hudson.

Hours after the news of the nuptials broke, the bride took to Instagram.com to share a sweet shot of the newlyweds.

"We Are the Wilsons!" she gleefully captioned the snap, in which the couple smile for the camera while holding hands after exchanging vows.

Ciara is featured wearing a lacy, long-sleeved white gown, which was custom made by Roberto Cavalli's creative director, Peter Dundas, according to E! News, while she also wears a cathedral-length veil.

Her groom posted the same photo online.

Serena Williams had been expected to skip the wedding as she prepares to compete in the semi-finals at London's Wimbledon tennis championships on Thursday (07Jul16), but a source tells UsMagazine.com the sports superstar made it for her friend's big day. The insider claims the athlete was one of Ciara's six bridesmaids.

The couple became engaged in March (16) after less than a year of dating.

The marriage is Ciara's first, although the 30-year-old was previously engaged to rapper Future, the father of her son Future Zahir. The former couple initially split in August, 2014, just three months after becoming parents, and parted ways for good that October (14).

Russell, the 27-year-old star quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, was married to Ashton Meem from 2012 to 2014.
