Chuck Wicks staging online benefit concert

Country star Chuck Wicks is staging an online concert later this month (Apr13) to raise money for a cancer charity.

The Stealing Cinderella hitmaker has teamed up with country music collective NRA Country to present an exclusive StageIt show benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Fans will be able to enjoy the gig for free from the comfort of their own home by logging on to the site, but are encouraged to donate money via a virtual 'tip jar'.

The top three tippers will receive an autographed copy of Wicks' latest record Rough, and the biggest donor of the night will get a phone call from the singer immediately after the show.

He says, "Cancer has hit my home in my family more than once and I'm grateful for the chance to give back to the cause with NRA Country through our StageIt concert."

The show will be broadcast on Stageit.com on 23 April (13).
