Chris Pine shows off girlfriend at Cannes

Chris Pine and model Dominique Piek made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The Star Trek hunk has been dating the Sports Illustrated beauty since last year (11), and they chose to make their first official public outing together by walking into the gala hand-in-hand on Wednesday (16May12).

The actor also happily posed with his arm around the South African stunner on the red carpet before they headed inside for the opening night gala.

Dominique Piek took to her Twitter.com page to share her excitement, writing, "Nothing could have prepared me for the crazy red carpet experience. Thank goodness I made it in one piece up the stairs!"

Chris Pine has previously been linked to actress Olivia Munn and reality TV star Audrina Patridge.
