Chris Brown marks daughter's birthday with sweet message

Chris Brown has celebrated his daughter's birthday with a sweet message.

The Forever singer shares daughter Royalty Brown with model Nia Guzman, having won joint custody in May last year (16).

To mark his little girl turning three on Saturday, Chris took to Instagram to wish her a heartfelt happy birthday.

"MY BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL IS OFFICIALLY 3 YEAR OLD (sic)!!!!" he captioned a portrait of Royalty, adding a row of heart emojis, and adding, "HBD (Happy Birthday) RO RO! I LOVE YOU."

In the photo, Royalty wears a grey tracksuit and sports a big smile while holding a cute toy doll.

Meanwhile, Nia also took to social media to celebrate her daughter's big day.

"#HappyBirthdayRoRo #WokeUpToCakeInBed #CakeAllDay #BigThree," she wrote alongside a snap of Royalty blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.

The 28-year-old spared no expense on a Frozen-themed bash for his little girl's second birthday, and has previously gushed about how becoming a father is a "humbling" experience. 

"Being a father is great. I've been able to set aside my own wants and necessities for my daughter," he told Entertainment Tonight in 2015. "Everything is about her... Whether it's performing or writing songs, I always have her in mind just to keep me focused."

Chris also dedicated his seventh studio album to Royalty, and in October 2015 unveiled the album cover which showed him holding her in his arms.
