Charice takes aim at anti-gay critics in fiery tweet

Filipino pop star Charice Pempengco has lashed out at Twitter.com followers who can't come to terms with the facts she's gay and planning to marry her lesbian lover.

The former Glee star, who was discovered by Oprah Winfrey, publicly proposed to longtime partner Alyssa Quijano last year (13), upsetting members of her family and fans.

And now months after having to deal with the fall-out from her decision to 'come out' as a lesbian, Pempengco is fighting back.

In a series of angry tweets, posted on Friday (09May14), the singer rages, "When someone tryna (trying to) mess with my boo, s**t i get really mad. Like MAD and i can't control it. Sometimes u just can't help it.

"But when it comes to my baby, i'm protective. She's amazing. She not (sic) perfect but she is for me. I love her... I'm trying to be real patient about s**t. I know who are those people who have been mean to her but she tells me not to do s**t about it.

"She's a whole package. She (sic) a game changer. F**k those people who judge us. We is (sic) fabulous."
