Camila Cabello has shared the first commercial for her Skechers campaign - in both English and her native Spanish language.

The Crying in the Club hitmaker announced her exciting new modeling gig on Twitter earlier this month (Aug17), inviting fans to take a sneak peek at a 30-second teaser video for the upcoming ad.

On Monday (21Aug), the 20-year-old singer, who is of Cuban and Mexican heritage, shared the commercial, showcasing the videos advertising Skechers Hi-Lites in both English and Spanish languages, reflecting her heritage, which she revealed is a big part of who she is as an artist.

“It’s so important for me to pay homage to my Cuban/Mexican roots. My culture is such a huge part of who I am," Camila said in a statement. "While working on my solo album, I have been listening to Spanish and English musicians - pulling inspiration from influencers I grew up with.

"I grew up speaking Spanish around my house and listened to primarily Spanish music before discovering Michael Jackson and all of the artists I listen to today," added the former Fifth Harmony bandmember who emigrated from Havana to Miami at the age of five.

Camilla is seen in a variety of bright colored Miami settings, out with friends on the streets and practicing her choreography backstage while showing off the fun sneakers.

She follows in the footsteps of fellow pop stars Meghan Trainor and Demi Lovato, who have previously starred in Skechers ad campaigns.
