Britney Spears does sexy dance routine to celebrate success of Make Me
Britney Spears has celebrated the success of her new single Make Me by sharing a sexy dance clip with her fans.
In honour of her new song hitting No.1 on iTunes Singles Chart , the popstar shared a video of her performing some energetic dance choreography via her official Twitter account on Friday (15Jul16). The 50-second clip, which the Piece of Me singer posted with the hashtag "#MakeMe move", shows the star wearing pink shorts and a matching top as she sways to her new tune.
Within hours of its release late on Thursday (14Jul16), Make Me
dethroned Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop the Feeling from the top
spot on the music download service. The single, made in
collaboration with British producer BURNS and featuring rapper
G-Eazy, is set to appear on Britney's upcoming ninth studio album.
While details about which other musicians may make appearances on
her new record, the blonde beauty was thrilled with the
up-and-coming rapper's input. Taking to social media, Britney
described the single as "sensational" and thanked G-Eazy for taking
the super sultry track "to the next level."
Britney's as-yet-untitled album serves as the follow-up to 2013's
Britney Jean, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. It's her
first release since single Pretty Girls, her 2015 collaboration
with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
Britney, 34, first discussed her new project last month (Jun16),
and shared how important it was for her to be making new music, in
addition to her work performing in her Las Vegas residency at
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
"It's very exciting," she told E! News. "I've been working on this
project for a year and a half now-almost two years-so it really
means a lot to me... It's my baby."
A release date for Britney's new album has yet to be confirmed.
