Britney Spears and music video co-star spark dating rumors

Britney Spears has sparked rumors she is dating her music video co-star Sam Asghari.

The Stronger star and Sam starred together in her video for her new single Slumber Party, which was released earlier this month (Nov16), and on Saturday (26Nov16), the two were spotted on a dinner date.

Sam posted a picture of the pair together at a restaurant, but he has since removed it from his Instagram account.

Britney has yet to comment on the dating rumors, but she recently insisted she is "really happy" being single and is not looking for love at the moment.

"A lot of men are about games," she told U.K. host Jonathan Ross in September (16). "It's just the mind game with guys, the calling back and the texting, it's just too much, it's silly."

And despite her desire to stay single, Spears also admitted her friends have previously set her up on blind dates that have been "too awkward" or "too much", especially one time, when she was shocked by a man's lizard-like appearance and had to make a sharp exit as soon as possible.

"The dating thing and meeting other people, it's hard. Tricky," she continued. "I will say there's been two dates that have been kind of cool but other than that it's just too much. I went out with this one guy and he looked like a lizard. I was so scared. As soon as I turned around I was like, 'Oh My God'... he looks just like a lizard and I had to go, it was really bad."

Britney ended her marriage to Kevin Federline in 2007 and was previously engaged to agent Jason Trawick. The couple split in 2013 and she went on to date David Lucado and producer Charlie Ebersol.
