Brawl breaks out at Adele concert
Fans of British superstar singer Adele started brawling during the second night of her world tour in Belfast.
The women reportedly had to be restrained by security after it was alleged they were 'drunk, and fist-fighting' during the star's concert on Tuesday (01Mar16) night.
Adele, who is known for her love songs, was in the midst of her
performance at the city's SSE Arena as the unseemly scenes
unfolded, but it appeared to have no effect on her performance, the
second date of her 105-date world tour to support Grammy
award-winning album 25.
A cameraman shooting footage for the songstresses' tour DVD
reportedly observed the alleged incident and was forced to alert
security.
A source told British newspaper The Sun: "It took ages for the
bouncers to come and break it up."
Despite undergoing vocal surgery in 2011 which meant she had to
stay silent for months, Adele has been wowing fans who are lapping
up the singer's onstage gags and relaxed style.
The singer took four years to produce new material after her
success with worldwide smash hit album 21. During that time she
gave birth to son Angelo, three, with her partner charity CEO Simon
Konecki, 41.
Speaking at the concert on Tuesday the star said: "In between
albums I popped out a baby. It's the greatest thing I ever did. Now
I have complete purpose... I want him to be proud of me and
understand why I do this."
It seems fans will not have to wait long for new material this time
round after the Hello singer indicated there will be new songs to
come after her nine month world tour.
Taking her son as her main inspiration for getting back into the
studio she explained: "There may be a new song towards the end of
the shows," but admitted: "I haven't written anything yet,
though!"
Adele's 105-date tour kicked off in Ireland and UK, before touring
Europe in the summer, the U.S., Canada and Mexico in the
autumn.
