Bobby Brown's lawyer slams news of family reality show
Bobby Brown's lawyer has blasted reports suggesting the R&B veteran's family is shooting a reality TV show about his daughter Bobbi Kristina's ongoing health battle, insisting editors should be "ashamed to publish such nonsense" on the eve of her 22nd birthday.
Sources told TMZ.com on Tuesday (03Mar15) the New Edition star's two sisters, brother and their kids are in the early stages of filming a show about their lives.
The series will reportedly include details about Bobbi Kristina's
fight for her life as Whitney Houston's only child remains in a
coma at an Atlanta, Georgia hospital following a near-drowning
incident at her home on 31 January (15).
The insiders insisted My Prerogative singer Brown was not directly
involved in the project, but that hasn't stopped his legal
representative, Christopher Brown, from slamming any suggestion
that his client approves of the reality show.
His statement reads: "Yet again, TMZ has chosen to engage in false
news reporting. There is no Brown family reality show that is in
production which chronicles Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina or the
medical emergency she presently faces at Emory Hospital.
"These reports are irresponsible and Warner Brothers, as the owner
of TMZ, should be ashamed to publish such nonsense, particularly
one day before Bobbi Kristina's birthday.
"Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown are dealing with enough right now.
The fact that TMZ/Warner Brothers has decided to inject negativity
into their lives at this critical time is plain insanity."
Bobbi Kristina Brown turns 22 on Wednesday (04Mar15).
