Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend served with $10 million lawsuit
Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon has officially been served with legal papers in a $10 million lawsuit accusing him of abusing Whitney Houston's daughter and stealing funds from the ailing youngster's bank account.
Houston's only child with ex-husband Bobby Brown has been fighting for her life since January (15), when she was found face down and unresponsive in a bath tub at the Georgia home she shared with Gordon.
She was subsequetly placed in a medically-induced coma and was
recently transferred to a hospice after doctors revealed there was
nothing more they could do for the 22 year old.
Brown's court-appointed conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, launched
legal action against Gordon last month (Jun15), and on Sunday
(12Jul15), he was personally handed the papers by a court server
while out and about in Longwood, Florida.
The incident was caught on camera, and in video footage obtained by
the New York Daily News, a clueless Gordon accepted the manilla
envelope as he left a Starbucks coffee shop.
Asked what the envelope is by a bystander, Gordon responds, "I have
no idea."
In the lawsuit, filed in Atlanta's Fulton County Superior Court,
Hargrove accuses Gordon of assault, battery and intentional
infliction of emotional distress. The papers also allege Gordon
transferred money from his girlfriend's account without her
permission while she was comatose in an Atlanta-area hospital.
Gordon has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
