Bobbi Kristina Brown not engaged

Bobbi Kristina Brown's representative has denied new rumors suggesting the teenager is engaged.

Whitney Houston's daughter has been dating Nick Gordon, who was informally adopted by the late singer when he was 12, and the couple sparked fresh speculation he had proposed to the 19 year old after he surprised her with a diamond and sapphire ring.

He posted a photo of the jewel on his girlfriend's ring finger on Twitter.com on Monday (27Aug12), and tweeted, "Surprise @REALbkBrown", to which she responded, "ur thee (you are the) best boo ! I love you, thank youuu (sic)... surprise is right, i love it!"

However, Bobbi Kristina Brown's spokesperson has brushed off the engagement rumors, telling GossipCop.com the claims are "not true".

It's the second time this year (12) Bobby Brown's daughter has been falsely reported as engaged - similar rumors surfaced in March (12), weeks after the music legend's death, after she was spotted wearing a diamond band on her ring finger. The piece of jewelry was said to have belonged to her late mom.
