Beth Ditto fined for disorderly conduct

Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto has been fined following her arrest for disorderly conduct earlier this month (Mar13).

The rocker was taken into custody on 16 March (13) after lashing out when she was reportedly denied drink service at Portland's Bungalo Bar when staff ruled she was too intoxicated.

Last week (20Mar13) the singer pleaded no contest to the charge, and she was ordered to pay $435 to settle the case, according to NME.com.

A statement from Ditto's publicist reads, "The violation charge is in the same class as a speeding ticket and was not a class B misdemeanor criminal charge as previously reported. Rumors of kicking someone or any physical violence are untrue and not part of any charges."
