Ben Stiller ensured his fellow New Yorkers didn't go hungry in the wake of superstorm Sandy this week (begs29Oct12) by serving food at a shelter.
The post-tropical cyclone struck the Big Apple on Monday (29Oct12), destroying thousands of homes and leaving millions of people without power.
Ben Stiller, who lives in the city, has been calling for donations
to the clean-up via his Twitter.com page, and on Friday (02Nov12)
he pitched in with the effort.
He was spotted at a shelter in Brooklyn, where he donned a neon
reflective volunteer jacket to serve up food, including pancakes,
bacon and eggs, to hungry locals.
