Backstreet Boys cancel Israel shows

The Backstreet Boys have canceled a string of gigs in Tel Aviv due to the ongoing unrest between Israelis and Palestinians.
The grown-up boy band was scheduled to play shows in the city at the end of July (14), but the concerts have been cut from their schedule.
A statement from the group reads: "This is a major disappointment
for the band and fans as this was to be our first visit to Israel
and we looked forward to meeting our fans."
Promoters are attempting to re-book the band for 2015.
In recent days Neil Young & Crazy Horse and Paul Anka have also
canceled concerts in Israel in the wake of the escalating
Middle-East conflict.
