Ashley Tisdale battled bronchitis during topless shoot

Actress Ashley Tisdale struggled through a raunchy new photoshoot for Maxim magazine because she was battling bronchitis as she stripped off.

The High School Musical star appears on the cover of the publication, posing on a beach in nothing but a pair of panties and a leather jacket.

Tisdale has now revealed she was feeling less than her best when she shed her clothes for the saucy shoot.

She tells People.com, "It was freezing. It was not really that fun. I was in Malibu (California), in the wintertime, with nothing on. I was sick with bronchitis. Like, on antibiotics.

"I was freezing, but I had so much fun doing it. In those moments, the adrenaline pops in, and you're like, 'Whooo!'"
