Ariana Grande cancels overseas shows
Pop star Ariana Grande has cancelled four shows in December (15).
The Problem singer was due to take her Honeymoon Tour to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday (03Dec15) and perform two shows in Saitama, Japan next week (beg07Dec15), but they have all now been scrapped.
She announced the news on Twitter.com, writing, "Babies, I'm so sad
I won't be able to make it abroad this December but I can't wait to
see u (you) & reschedule for next year. I love you so much."
Ariana did not give an explanation for the cancellation.
During her overseas trip, Ariana was also due to perform in London
at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball on Saturday (05Dec15), but she
has since dropped out.
The pop star was recently branded "lazy" by U.K. talk show host
Jonathan Ross for failing to arrive at a London studio in time to
tape an appearance on his series in November (15).
"Ariana is in town. We were told she would be in the car at 6pm to
be here for 7pm then it got to 7pm and she was not in the car -
7.30pm and she is still not in the... car. So I don't think we can
hold out much hope," Jonathan declared.
"I don't know what it is. We are going to give Ariana the benefit
of the doubt and not say anything mean or judgmental. I apologise
to anyone who might have come along hoping to see her... She was
booked but the lazy (star) has not come. Maybe she has gone to her
first (fast-food joint) Nando's."
She cancelled three other shows on her Honeymoon Tour, which began
in February (15), due to scheduling conflicts and axed another
concert after she had her wisdom teeth removed.
Due to the new cancellations, her tour effectively finished on 25
October (15) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
