Ariana Grande becomes the face of Lipsy
Pop star Ariana Grande is the new face of British womenswear brand Lipsy.
The Problem singer, 22, will front the label's latest campaign and she is also collaborating with the company on a spring collection, which will debut in early March (16). There are already plans for a summer range, which would launch in May.
The pairing marks the first time Ariana has branched out into
fashion.
“It’s so great getting to collaborate with Lipsy to do something
special for my fans,” Ariana said, according to WWD. “The line is
youthful, affordable, and I know my fans will love it.”
Ariana's 20-piece collection will include prom, party and day
dresses, skirt sets, a biker jacket and accessories.
The singer has set prices so they won't break the bank for her
fans, with tops starting from $46 and dresses from $51.
The garments will be sold in Lipsy stores around the world, as well
as on the brand's website and in U.K. high street store Next.
Ariana has had a busy time expanding her brand, and recently
launched her second fragrance - a unisex scent called Frankie,
which she produced alongside her older half-brother, who the
product is named after.
Frankie opened up about the limited-edition spray on his
Instagram.com account on 19 January (16), calling it a scent "meant
to be worn by all", while Ariana added her support on Twitter with
multiple hashtags such as "#smellssogoodtho" and
"#wearingitrn(right now)."
Frankie by Ariana Grande has notes of pink pepper, pear and
apricot, as well as sandalwood, musks and sugar crystals.
The unisex scent follows the release of her first-ever perfume, Ari
by Ariana Grande, last year (15).
