Anne Hathaway scrapped honeymoon plans at the last minute
Anne Hathaway changed her honeymoon plans at the last minute when she found out her travel details had leaked online.
The Les Miserables actress married Adam Shulman in Big Sur, California in 2012, and subsequent reports suggested the newlyweds jetted to London to begin a trip around Europe.
Hathaway has now revealed she was thrown into a panic at the
beginning of the romantic vacation when she was told her itinerary
had been published on the Internet, so the couple cancelled the
trip and opted for a more secluded getaway.
When asked to name the most spontaneous trip she has ever taken,
she tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "My honeymoon. My husband Adam
and I had just got married. We were actually on the first leg of
the honeymoon we'd originally planned when a friend of ours called
and said, 'Are you guys still going ahead with this?' I said, 'What
do you mean?' and they said, 'Somebody's figured out where you're
going and it's all over the Internet.'
"We looked at each other and said, 'What do we do now? Okay, let's
go someplace else.' So we bought tickets then and there and went to
a whole different place. I'd rather not tell you where, but we had
an amazing time."
