Anna Camp and Skylar Astin host joint bachelor-bachelorette party

Pitch Perfect co-stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin celebrated their impending nuptials with a joint bachelor-bachelorette party at the weekend (ends14Aug16).

The actress kicked off the festivities on Saturday (13Aug16) at her bridal shower with her closest girlfriends, including co-star Brittany Snow, who took to Instagram to share a photo of her drinking a glass of wine alongside the bride-to-be, who donned a tiara and white sun dress.

"My favorite little elf is getting married & I'm really serious about her bridal shower," Brittany wrote. "I love you so very much my @therealannacamp."

Following the shower, Anna posted a group shot of her and all her gal pals, writing the caption: "Bachelorette fun with the beautiful ladies," while another picture featured a handwritten note from Brittany, which read, "Just drink it b**ch you're getting married", next to a shot glass filled with alcohol.

The group then began their country-themed bachelorette party, and Anna posted a shot of her laughing on the dance floor as she wore a white cowboy hat with a veil attached to the back, writing, "The ladies killed it!!!! line dancing is the best ever!"

Meanwhile, Skylar and his groomsmen started their day off at the pool and soaked up some sun before heading out to a bar. He also shared photos from their day on Instagram, with one photo showing him alongside his pals just before meeting up with his fiancee and the ladies to end their night together.

"This is the face of a guy who's about to rendezvous with his wife to be!!" Skylar wrote.

The two groups met up for their joint celebration at a bar and danced the rest of the night away.

Skylar's final photo from the evening was a sweet shot of him kissing Anna while wearing the white cowboy hat she had been wearing earlier.

Pleased with the success of their joint party, he added the caption, "Nailed it".

Anna and Skylar met while filming Pitch Perfect in 2012, and began dating the following year (13). They announced their engagement over the New Year (16).

The marriage will be Anna's second - she was previously married to actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013.
