Angelina Jolie buys historic Hollywood estate - report
Angelina Jolie has reportedly shelled out nearly $25 million for the luxury Los Angeles home that Cecil B. Demille used to live in.
The Oscar-winning actress has been on the hunt for a new pad since she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September (16), and now editors at TMZ.com report she’s found the perfect house.
Spanning 11,000 square feet and boasting six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, there will be plenty of room for Angelina and her six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, to be comfortable in.
The opulent home, formerly owned by legendary director Cecil who lived there until his death in 1959, was built in 1913 and sits on over two acres of land.
Angelina’s new neighbors include Ellen Pompeo, Casey Affleck and Natalie Portman.
The news outlet reports the historic estate was on the market for just shy of $25 million, with Angelina allegedly paying close to the asking price.
