Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt meet British Foreign Secretary
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt rushed from the London premiere of World War Z to visit the home of Britain's Foreign Secretary.
The Hollywood stars thrilled fans with their red carpet outing on Sunday (02Jun13), which marked Angelina Jolie's first public appearance since revealing last month (May13) she had undergone a double mastectomy.
However, the couple opted out of the zombie film's screening and
instead paid a visit to politician William Hague.
Angelina Jolie, who is a leading humanitarian campaigner and a
United Nations (U.N.) Goodwill Ambassador, chatted with Hague about
her ongoing efforts to highlight the issue of rape in armed
conflicts.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Angelina only had a tiny amount
of time in London, so arranged to skip the actual screening of the
film in favor of meeting up with William Hague. They popped into
his central London home for an hour to catch up on what they'd both
been up to. Brad was really keen to come too, despite the fact that
he had his film on. They stayed for so long that they were late for
the dinner with pals."
