Amy Winehouse tribute staged in London

Amy Winehouse's friends, family and fans came together in London on Monday night (23Jul12) to pay tribute to the late star on the first anniversary of her death.

The Back to Black hitmaker's father Mitch organised a karaoke night at the Jazz After Dark bar in the U.K. capital to remember the singer.

Fan photos of the star, as well as paparazzi snaps, adorned the venue, and Winehouse's brother Alex was on hand to greet guests as they arrived at the tribute night, according to Britain's The Sun.

Reg Traviss, Winehouse's boyfriend at the time of her death, was among the crowd, as was her teenager goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, while fans were also invited to pay their respects.

Winehouse was found dead at her London home on 23 July 2011 after suffering alcohol poisoning.
