Amy Schumer takes break from Hollywood for bridesmaid duties
Amy Schumer wrapped her new movie and went straight on to her next role; bridesmaid at the wedding of her best friend in Hawaii.
The 35-year-old comedian had just finished filming her latest project, co-starring Goldie Hawn, in Hawaii before she attended the wedding of her friends Tara and Rusty Fitton.
Amy shared a black and white photo of her, alongside the happy
couple and boyfriend Ben Hanisch, on Instagram on Sunday (14Aug16)
with the caption, "Congratulations to @tara_alana and @rustolleum
in the best wedding ever. Very proud to be a bmaid (sic)."
The day was also special for Ben, who was also celebrating his 30th
birthday.
"Happy 30th birthday to one of our bestest friends @benhanisch,"
the bride Tara wrote alongside a snap of her, her new husband, Amy
and Ben.
The couple celebrated their six-month dating anniversary earlier
this year (16), but the Trainwreck star told Marie Claire in July
(16) she's having trouble adjusting to her new relationship.
"Being in love is the scariest thing in the world," she admitted.
"You want to... cry and scream. I can't handle it. Every time we
say goodbye, I think, 'This will have been a nice last week
together'.
"Or I tell myself nothing is real and he's going to leave me and
tell me he never loved me. I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it
must be dating me."
Her romance with Chicago-based furniture designer Ben began in
January (16), and Amy considers him her first real boyfriend.
"I feel like Ben is the first guy who's really been my boyfriend.
There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch
me in the face, but, yeah, it's the truth," she told the
magazine.
Amy and Goldie's as yet untitled feature is a mother/daughter
comedy, slated for release next year (17).
