Alec Baldwin and Miley Cyrus gatecrash Edward Norton's SNL hosting stint

Edward Norton got a little help from Hollywood A-listers as he made his Saturday Night Live hosting debut when Alec Baldwin and Miley Cyrus gatecrashed his stint on the sketch show at the weekend (26Oct13).

In his opening monologue, the actor revealed he has been waiting 13 years to host the long-running comedy series and was then given a few pointers from veteran Baldwin, who holds the record for most times hosting SNL.

Pop star Cyrus, who fronted the show earlier this month (Oct13), also made a surprise appearance to give the Fight Club star a pep talk, explaining, "Eddie, here are Miley's three rules to hosting: one, you've got to have fun. Two, you gotta keep your energy up and three, you gotta stick your tongue out like this."

In the episode, Norton showed off his celebrity impressions, including his take on director Woody Allen and Sir Ian McKellen, and he also mimicked Owen Wilson and Dustin Hoffman's Rain Man character.
