Adele's U.S. tour tickets sell out in minutes

Adele fans snapped up all available tickets for the singer's North American tour on Thursday (17Dec15) within minutes.

Devotees hoping to buy tickets for the Hello singer's East Coast gigs were left waiting for close to an hour as luckier fans jumped on ticket sale websites and bought up seats for shows that begin in St. Paul, Minnesota in July (16).

Tickets for many shows appeared within minutes on secondary market sites like Stubhub, with asking prices ranging from $300 to $9,999.

Official face value prices ranged from $40 to $750.

Tickets for the singer's European tour, which starts in February (16), also sold out within minutes when they went on sale earlier this month (Dec15).
