Adele's son Angelo watches her perform for the first time
Adele's three-year-old son Angelo has seen his superstar mother perform on stage for the first time.
The British singer was more emotional than usual during her sold-out performance at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday (16Mar16), after she paused her performance to reveal her little boy was in the audience.
According to the MailOnline Adele told fans her first child with
partner Simon Konecki, who was born in October 2012, has never had
the chance to see his mum on stage before.
"This is the first show he has seen me do," the star beamed.
Later launching into her hit Someone Like You from album 21, she
gave a tearful shout-out to her son saying,"I love you so much,
Peanut!"
In an interview with i-D Magazine last year (15) the 27-year-old
singer said that having Angelo was: "the greatest thing I ever did.
Now I have a purpose. It used to be that my own world revolved
around me, but now it has to revolve around him ."
Adele is currently in the middle of a world tour to promote her new
album 25 which was released last November (15) and included the
worldwide smash hit ballad Hello.
The star recently admitted her desire to impress her son had been
the main factor driving her to get back into the studio.
"In between albums I popped out a baby. It's the greatest thing I
ever did," she told fans in Belfast, according to Britain's The Sun
newspaper. "Now I have complete purpose... I want him to be proud
of me and understand why I do this."
Adele's 105-date tour kicked off in Ireland in February, and will
head to Europe in the summer before going to the U.S., Canada and
Mexico in the (16).
